Being single is not a problem to fix
Hi Free Spirit! This time of year can feel loud. Everywhere you look there are reminders that love is supposed to look one specific way. Couples. Plans. Milestones. A sense that you should be somewhere else by now. And if you are single it can quietly start to feel like you are behind. But you are not. Being single does not mean you missed a turn or failed to keep up. It does not mean you are incomplete or waiting for your life to begin. It simply means you are in a season where you belong fully to yourself. That is not something to rush through. So much of the pressure around relationships comes from comparison. Watching other people’s timelines and assuming they are ahead while you are falling behind. But there is no universal clock for love or fulfillment or wholeness. There is only honesty. Honesty about what feels right for you right now. You are allowed to enjoy this chapter. This season is not a placeholder. It is a real and meaningful part of your story.
